Reliv Kalogris Foundation Update
Reliv Distributors,

Welcome to the first quarterly update from the Reliv Kalogris Foundation. We intend to update you on the Foundation’s progress at the end of each quarter, similar to the way that Reliv reports its financial results. I have two key updates for you this quarter.

  1. Donations to the Foundation are ahead of donations in the first quarter of last year.
  2. Construction of the orphanage in Haiti is proceeding on schedule.
First Quarter Donations

In the first quarter, Distributors donated $287,250 to the Foundation, a 21% increase over last year. That’s a tremendous showing of generosity from our Distributors!

The Foundation also is benefitting from strong pre-registration for the Rally for the Mission. In the first quarter, funds for the Rally for the Mission were 36% over last year’s total at this time. We are excited not only for what the funds mean for our feeding programs, but also for the potentially greater attendance at this year’s International Conference. Our goal is to have 100% participation at the Rally. So if you are registered for conference but not the Rally for the Mission, there is still time!

In addition, employee donations have climbed 15% this year. All in all, it has been a remarkable quarter for the RKF. We hope to keep this momentum going with your continued support. Remember that there are many options available for donating to the Foundation. In addition to PVQ, Distributors can do a one-time donation, a reoccurring donation, a round-up in the Reliv shopping cart or host a Network to Nourish event. Also as a reminder, the Foundation is now able to accept outside donations. All donation amounts make a tremendous difference and are tax-deductible.

Haiti Orphan Project

We are right on schedule for the dedication of the new home for children who were left homeless by the terrible 2010 earthquake in Haiti. This building, which will house 84 children, is the Foundation’s largest construction project to date. You’ll hear more about it in coming months. Be sure and keep up with the progress of the Orphan Project on the Foundation’s Facebook page.

Finally, Dr. Manno, one of our area coordinators in Haiti, will speak at the International Conference in August, where he’ll update us on all of our Haiti activities. Manno is an inspiring speaker, to say the least. If you haven’t seen him, I strongly urge you to come to St. Louis to hear firsthand how your donations are helping the people of Haiti.

Best wishes,

R. Scott MontgomeryChairman
